A protest started against
government in India against the new policies of Modi government. This protest
was started by farmers as farmers were not happy with these new laws. Modi Government
made laws to make sure that farmers can deal directly with the markets without
the use of middle channels.
This was not accepted by the
farmers as they have different types of securities and fears for this new law. Farmers
are demanding that the old laws are fine and they are not in need of new laws.
However government wanted to
make the new laws, and enforced them on farmers, due to which troubles started.
Farmers from different parts of India started to gather against Modi government
and the protest started. This protest continued for many days and farmers are
demanding an ending of this new law as they are happy to work under the old
laws.
Government is under great
pressure and it seems that government will take that reform in law back as the
normal working of the country is adversely affected. Such protests are huge and
blocking paths and roads and normal routine of life. Modi Government is under
great pressure in India and they have to take these changes in laws back so
that the protest could end.
In many cases such changes
in laws are useless and it is important to let the old system running when
there are no problems in them. There are many issues with problems and Modi government
can work on them in order to correct them. It is not good to disturb a system
which is running normally.
In this case of farmers in India
and government that reform seems to be useless and it is only adding to the
problems of farmers. When farmers are happy with the old system of working then
the new system must not be introduced as it is not going to give any types of
benefits to farmers.
Many farmers are afraid from
the new system as it will reduce their earnings and their freedom of working. They
are willing to use the old system and government of India is under great
pressure to end the reform of this act and establish the old laws for farmers.
This protest has disturbed
the normal life in India and major areas of the country are closed and farmers
have left their routine tasks and overall image of India in the whole world is
disturbed.
Modi Government is trying to
settle this matter as soon as possible so that the normal routine working could
start. Government of India was thinking that the new system will be liked by
farmers and they will admire it and work in it to get benefits. However farmers
are not happy with the new system and they are trying to establish the old
system which they are using from many years.
Farmers are also getting
media coverage and many channels of international recognition have covered the
stories and interviews of different farmers due to which the details of the
case are highlighted all over the world. India is a big country and this big
issue must be solved sooner so that the international impact of the country
could be restored.
