Starting from 40,000 rupees for weak animals, some strong animals are for one lack and above. 130,000 and 140,000 is also asked by some sellers for some sheep and goats. However prices are charged high by sellers and government has also imposed a tax of 5% on total price which is to be paid by the buyer. Many people have participated in this bakra mandi to make sure that they can get some good animals for eid ul azha 2025 festival. Many animals were present even on the last day before eid ul azha 2025 as the prices are huge and people are not able to make final decisions till the last date. There is no price control in bakra mandi and sellers are asking for huge money to make sure that they can get a lot of benefits. Buyers are asking for huge discounts to make sure that they can get the best animals for the least prices. Government is only concerned for the 5% tax which is imposed on buyers and they have left the final price of animals on settlement of buyers and sellers.
