Child labour is an issue in
many parts of the world. Many parents are not trying to let their kids in
education as the education expenses are high and they are not able to afford
the charges of education. They employ them in their businesses or jobs. Some jobs
are harmful for kids and as a result they got injured and their childhood is
also ruined.
Their mental development and
learning process is also adversely affected due to child labour. Some kids are
not willing to go to school and invest their time and efforts in education. Parents
can force these types of kids and make them to learn in school. However if
parents are not forcing kids to go to school to complete education to some
stage or get a degree then such kids start working in different fields.
This starts child labour and
such kids are not able to get education and continue to work at different
smaller jobs. Time and energy invested in education is good as it gives the
opportunity to kids to learn many new things and after learning it is possible
to start a better business or get employed in a better job.
If kids are not willing to
study and parents are also not forcing them to study then such kids go in child
labour and start doing different types of tasks. Crime rates are also increased
if kids go in different types of jobs as they are willing to get paid huge
amounts and they are not skilled enough for getting good payment.
Therefore they try to get more
money faster and also choose the crime path. Thefts and robberies are also
increased as kids are not investing time and energy in education and they try
to steal the hard earned money of others. In such cases there are cases of
fights and police also arrests such kids which leads to longer punishments and
more time in jail and prison.
It is important to focus on
studies till the age of maturity. When kids are getting education and parents
and the society are playing their part in helping kids to go to school then it
is possible to eliminate child labour.
When kids have completed
their education then they are able to work better in jobs and also start their
business when they are of mature age. Poverty is also a main cause of child
labour. Many poor kids are not able to bear education expenses and lack of
government support forces them to start working and this also increases child
labour.
